LED Media Art

At DIOR’s newly unveiled pop-up store in Seongsu, Seoul, LED displays installed within the café reinterpret the view of the garden outside Christian Dior’s childhood home in Granville, offering visitors an immersive experience that feels as though they have stepped into Granville itself.

My Role

Production Lead (under Creative Director) – Concept, Modeling, Visual, Motion, Compositing

Working under the Creative Director’s direction, I developed the overall concept and frame modelling, produced the mid-ground and background park visuals and motion for Scenes #02 and #03, ensured visual quality across a two-person team, and completed the final compositing of the full sequence.

Embarking on a journey into the mesmerizing DIOR Garden,
in pursuit of a dreamlike sense of exquisite happiness.
Design

I have modeled the fraame shape of the Grandville window

and reconstructed the park/s environment to represent it.

The Infinite Door, composed of symbols representing Haeundae, Busan,

features intricate engravings of camellia flowers, the sea, waves,

and seagulls within a gold-framed structure.
Each time the door opens, it invites viewers into a fantastical dimension

that unfolds in ever-changing ways.

Test

We have analyzed the shape of the wall and conducted effective tests

for a person's perpective and spatial perception.
