My Role

Production Lead (under Creative Director) – Concept, Modeling, Visual, Motion, Compositing

Under the Creative Director’s direction, I led a six-person production team, helping refine tunnel and floor elements in each scene to maintain overall visual quality. I also produced the visuals, motion, and compositing for the Yeongseo and Yeongdong tunnel and floor sections, including the final lantern scene.

Main Concept

Light Garden Encompassing Gangwon

Anchored by the Taebaek Mountain Range, the spine of the Korean Peninsula,
this space embodies the untouched beauty
of Gangwon’s landscapes—its mountains, sea, and rich natural environment—inviting audiences
to experience the overwhelming force of nature.

Styleframe

#'Yeongseo' region

I worked on the floor design that guides the audience’s movement, as well as the tunnel sequence,

which was designed to evoke the image of dandelions blooming through stone.

The Infinite Door, composed of symbols representing Haeundae, Busan,

features intricate engravings of camellia flowers, the sea, waves,

and seagulls within a gold-framed structure.
Each time the door opens, it invites viewers into a fantastical dimension

that unfolds in ever-changing ways.

#Yeongdong Region

Within a space designed like an installation art gallery,

we vividly captured the calmness and strength of the East Sea. In this section,

I designed the tunnel as a window, expressing the spring and autumn of

the Yeongdong region through the form of the Lagerstroemia (crape myrtle)

at Ojukheon, a natural monument of Gangneung.

#Night of Gangwon & Outro

Alongside Gangneung’s iconic landmarks, brilliant blue meteors and a sweeping Milky Way unfold across the space.
On the floor, flowers slowly rise from beneath a water-like surface and bloom as visitors pause, creating a gentle, interactive layer of engagement.
At the same time, wish lanterns rise to fill the sky, offering an indirect yet immersive evocation of Gangneung’s Dano Festival.
