KOOM Festival is a networking event held in New York that connects Korean brands with opportunities in the U.S. market. I was responsible for creating the festival's teaser films and branded motion assets.

Inspired by the exchange of ideas between Korean companies, the visual concept draws from iconic elements of Korean culture while also referencing the Korean pronunciation of "KOOM," which closely resembles the word "꿈" (dream). This dual meaning became the foundation of the visual language, combining symbolic Korean imagery with dreamlike, contemporary motion to express ambition, creativity, and new opportunities.
Working within a tight 2.5-week production schedule, I combined AI-assisted workflows with 3D production to achieve both efficiency and high visual quality, contributing to a consistent and scalable brand experience.
This project began as an attempt to revitalise underused, ‘dead’ areas within a shopping mall, rather than a conventional exhibition space.
Considering the cultural characteristics of Korean audiences, we felt that interactions triggered by excessive actions or overt attention-seeking behaviours would be less effective. Instead, we focused on subtle events that occur naturally
when visitors step into a specific space.
To spark curiosity, we introduced a light-hearted interpretation of the day’s fortune, delivered in a playful manner. This approach proved to be well aligned with both the spatial context and the intended audience.
